BMW 118d and Bailey

Robert reviewed on 26 September 2010 a BMW 118d (143 PS/105 Kw, Year: 2007 - 2011) with a Bailey Ranger GT60 460/2 of 1177 kg.

Having now done 5 trips with the outfit. I feel confident of towing it, averaging 43.5mpg mixed solo and towing. On a trip to Cornwall we seemed to have no trouble on A30 uphill grades in fact passing several units towed by 4x4 on these sections without exceding speed limit. If in windy conditions the slower limits need to be exercised to control a lightweight outfit
