Fiat Bravo

Fiat Bravo - 1.4 T-Jet with a Bailey

Paul reviewed a Fiat Bravo - 1.4 T-Jet (88 Kw/118 bhp). Modelyear: july 2007 - up to now) and a Bailey Ranger 460/4 of 1194 kg.

The towing capability for this outfit is:
= 91%* = 96 km/u = 14%

My first caravan so I'm not qualified to comment on what makes a good tow car. Choice of caravan came down to just two models mostly because of the weight of the car. Suffice to say - you CAN tow with the Bravo 1.4 turbo - who'd have thought a 1.4 could handle a caravan!! Fuel consumption takes a pasting because the engine is working hard (average 23 mpg over a 400 mile round trip recently) but performance is fine and I am planning a trip to Europe next Summer with no concerns about the car. Nothing unpleasant happens on steep hills or twisty roads, the little Fiat just gets on and does what it should. I'm very pleasantly surprised. As for the Bailey, all those awards it's won tell you all you need to know. My family are very much converted to the caravanning experience - we love it.

Fiat Bravo - 1.9 MultiJet 8v with a Delta

Luca reviewed a Fiat Bravo - 1.9 MultiJet 8v (88 Kw/118 bhp). Modelyear: april 2007 - up to now) and a Delta Euroliner 4700 TKM of 1280 kg.

The towing capability for this outfit is:
= 91%* = 99 km/u = 15%

Very good performance. The only bad point is the friction of Bravo, which is non excellent.
