Dodge Caliber - 2.0 CRD with a Elddis |

|
Jeff Walker reviewed a Dodge Caliber - 2.0 CRD (103 Kw/138 bhp). Modelyear: june 2006 - up to now) and a Elddis Avante 472 of 1050 kg.
The towing capability for this outfit is:
= 72%*
= 104 km/u
= 21%Although my caravan is actually an Elddis Firestorm, I've inputted data as an Avante but with correct specs for the Firestorm. The Dodge Caliber (Diesel) is superb at towing this van. Smooth acceleration and no fears on hills or motorway driving. The car grips the road and fuel consumption only drops from my usual average of 42mpg to about 34mpg when towing.
Visibility is excellent around the van and reversing is a dream.
I thouroughly recommend the Dodge Caliber as an excellent towing vehicle and a superb everyday car.
