It has given me confidence in towing. I am now seeking a new tow car, and would have another diahatsu but they don't make them anymore !!!!

bob mayne reviewed a Daihatsu Rocky - 2.8 TD (75 Kw/101 bhp). Modelyear: september 1994 - january 2001) and a Coachman Amara 530/4 of 1530 kg.
The towing capability for this outfit is:
= 90%*
= 92 km/u
= 25%my present 2001 tdx is my second daihatsu the first being a 1984 short wheel base model, both vehicles proving very reliable. towing the amara is a breeze and there's never a control problem the daihatsu is capable of handling any situation which is probably why they were so popular with the agricultural community. it's a great pity they stopped making them. A tough rugged tow car.
